It’s on, mark your calendars! The 2nd Annual Battle of the Christmas Ale is officially scheduled for Thursday, December 13th! The reigning champs,Thirsty Dog Brewing Co. and their 12 Dogs of Christmas take on the challenger, Fat Head’s Brewery and their Holly Jolly! Who will win? You decide! We will have incredible specials all night long while both breweries will be present and ready to BRIBE YOU FOR YOUR VOTE! We will be giving out gift cards and t-shirts along with additional prizes throughout the night! Cleveland.com will be here live-streaming the event, it’s going to be spectacular! In addition to the main event, both breweries will be competing with three additional brews each for a total of four brews per brewery. Stay tuned for more details!

The Arthritis Foundation is pleased to announce the 22nd Annual Red & White on Thursday Night, Akron’s premier food & wine event. Join us and indulge dishes from Akron’s best chefs, craft beers and local and international wines. Now home of Akron Life magazine’s 330 Flavor Awards, the evening will celebrate the top food and beverage talent of the 330 area. Additional highlights of the event include exciting raffles, a unique auction and an exclusive VIP Lounge featuring specialty cocktails. All proceeds benefit the Arthritis Foundation’s mission to conquer and cure arthritis.

Thirsty Dog will be pouring Irish Red Setter & Labrador Lager. 

Enjoy the delicious craft beer selections at the Thirsty Dog Taphouse and learn to paint your own rendition of “Northern Lights” with your own creative flair.  Connie Kramer will give friendly, no-pressure instruction–beginners are welcomed and encouraged.
